THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME

The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Conell is an exciting and a wonderful story that talks about hunting, survival, and about the dangerous game. That tell us about how to survive the island. In the story a man named Sanger Rainsford and General Zaroff. Sanger Rainsford hear a sound that startled him and he falls from the yacht. He has a feeling how animal feel and he land on General Zaroff’s island and they're talk about how to hunt and about the wild animals. The perspective shared by General Zaroff and Rainsford that “The world is divided into two classes of the hunter and the huntees.” ( CONNEL 40) is significant because Rainsford has a feeling how animal feel and explained that the one is either predator and prey. Conell’s view on human nature is a dangerous place in the islands that you have to hunt to survive the island.

In the beginning of the story Sanger Rainsford and General Zaroff are being civilized. “We do our best to preserve the amenities of civilization here. Please forgive any lapses. We are well off the beaten track you know. Do you think the champagne has suffered from it's long ocean trip.” (CONELL 22) and “The world is made up into two classes the hunters and the huntees. Luckily you and I are hunters.” (CONELL 40).

Rainsford and Zaroff revert to animalistic tendencies in order to survive the island. “I wanted the ideal animal to hunt.” (CONELL 48) and “I've always thought that the Cape buffalo is the most dangerous off all big game.”(CONEL 47). In this quote Rainsford and Zaroff are being civilized because because Rainsford specially states that he is interested about the Cape buffalo that support my idea that Rainsford is being animalistic. Zaroff specially state that he wanted to hunt a new animal that support my idea that Zaroff is being animalistic
