Joy is also important in love. Joy is the feelings of pleasure that we get from love. In the article “The Love of My Life” by T.C. Boyle, the author demonstrates how a couple were living in peace, can have a happy life. Their life was stress free and simple “He drove her car, slept on the couch in the family room at her parents’ house, played tennis and watched football.” (Boyle 1).
