Cruel behavior is everywhere and it can’t be stopped. In the book On Monsters the section “Inhuman” the Khmer Rouge held prisoners of Angkar. An example is Ladin, the ten years old girl who was taken away from both of her parents by the Khmer Rouge. That’s a cruel behavior because taking away a child from his or her parent is an act of torture. In the book On Monsters the section “Inhuman” it talks about Stanley Milgram, who did the study in Yale that occurred in the 1960. Stephen T. Asma explained, “Americans were made to believe they were shocking other average Americans with lethal doses of electricity.” He made people believe that they would shock each other with electricity. That’s a very cruel act because a normal person isn’t supposed to do that to others. However, the idea of demons and devils hunt many people in the world.
