I really like this image because it shows shadow and light very well and most importantly it is a picture that makes me smile everytime I see it. The quality I like best in this photo is the lighting. I think I did a very good job with the lighting by making one side his face light and the other side darker. The only thing I had trouble with while taking this picture was setting up the light to help me get the best shot I could possibly get. It was was challenging setting those things up. I wouldn 't really do anything different for how I set up for this picture. The experiences I had while creating this image were very enjoyable because I got to have my best firmed Hubert model for me during the whole shadow and light project. I created this image by using photoshop and cropping it to 10 by 8. Then all I did was make the dark side of his face darker than the original photo taken. The direction of the light was coming from above and to the left of Hubert. The lighting has the whole effect for this photo to work. To get the shadow that I needed, I had to use a really bright light and angle it at the best of my ability. The lighting really highlights important features as it helps the one side of his face be very bright and the other side of his his face to be very dark. It also creates a shadow that helps make the photograph pop more. The camera was positioned right in front of Hubert 's face. I didn 't hold the camera to take this photo. Instead I used the tripod which helped keep the camera straight and focused on Hubert’s face. I took this photograph when we had to do the shadow and light project. What can be seen clear in this photo is Hubert’s face with one side of the face being with light and the other side of his face being dark with a shadow. When you look at the photo you will see only one side of his face and the other side you can only see
