The American Heartburn Association (AHA) believes this “Listerine Pocket Packs Breath Strips” to be within the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act (FD&C) and would like the product defined as a food under § 201(f) of the Act. But, FDA has decided that Listerine Pocket Packs will not be regulated as a food because it is not a food product. The only issue is whether a Listerine Pocket Packs are foods or not under the federal food, drug, and cosmetic act.
