The happiest was easily Kaison. Kaison is a four-year-old little boy who has Williams Syndrome; a syndrome that causes learning disabilities and abnormalities of connective tissue, vital to supporting the joints and organs. The two article titles, “Happiness is Other People” by Ruth Whippman (2017) published on The New York Times and “The Secret to Deeper Happiness Is Simpler Than You Might Think” by Ginny Graves (2017) published on Health.com discuss on how happiness is misapprehended and defines how one is able to achieve happiness. The main point that Whippman’s article (2017) wanted to bring across to the readers is that happiness lies does not lie within rather it is more on engaging in human interactions, whereas in Graves’ article (2017), it states that lasting happiness does not come from materialistic possessions but can be from the simplest means or actions in accordance to your own values. The two articles have brought their points across to the reader, however I feel that Ginny Graves’ articles are more persuasive as compared to Ruth Whippman’s articles in terms of credibility, being more relatable more readers she is able to reach and having more testimonials in supporting her argument . Ginny Graves and Ruth Whippman were both considered are veteran authors with writing experiences of 30 years (Graves, n.d.) and 7 years (Whippman, n.d.) respectively, however when it comes to the topic of “happiness” both authors lack the credibility when trying to persuade the readers since this topic requires a great understanding…

It can be characterized through various symptoms. The individual must have suffered from at least one manic episode, which is an abnormally long portion of a persistent expensive, irritable, and excited mood. “For there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so,” (Shakespeare 250-260). This is how David Gilbert opens his essay “Paradise Glossed", in which he discusses what happiness is and how a person can find happiness in the darkest of situations. To Gilbert, happiness is a positive way of looking at a life. He also argues that people can feel happiness in the midst of a crisis because the human brain is capable of unconsciously warping a situation in a way that benefits it, meaning that people tend to see the brighter side of any situation they are put in. Gilbert’s assertion that human can subconsciously manipulate the facts about any situation to find happiness.…

Find Out Why.”, looking at the “Happiness” picture with the quote from Benjamin Franklin, and seeing the video of “Happy” by Pharrell Williams (and studying the lyrics), it is obvious that a topic in all three is happiness.
