The first painting “El Pan Nuestro”(Our Daily Bread) by Ramón Frade, shows us the image of an old man in the rural landscape.Carrying plenty of green plantains on his hands and walking from a long distance.The old man is likely to be on his way home from working the land. He does not appear to be happy in fact he looks tired and down.He might be tired from working all day to get food for his family.The painting is a very colorful and clear image of the landscape, showing the big green mountains in the distance, grass, and a beautiful blue sky. The painter expresses the meaning of his title by showing the plantains the old man was carrying, which probably was what he and his family eat every day in order to live.
