We hunger for knowledge, but sometimes it results to a spiral thought of negativity. This is when challenges are birthed and without reliance, we become clueless. We fail and fail, but as soon as we learn from our mistakes we become stronger and attempt to redefine our own personalities and characteristics. We discover help from important figures who we develop relationships with along the way. A young individual relies on friends, families and even a significant other to support his or her own life experiences. The beauty of coming of age and inner quest is the positive effects and influences that we receive to improve what is most needed. This young individual realizes that beauty does not come from the outside but comes from the heart. This individual learns that physical appearances do not matter but unique personalities define who you are. He or she learns, grows, and becomes aware of what makes his or her life truly affirmative. Each genre exemplifies a unique objective that extends towards the audience giving them a vicarious experience with the author and the author’s characters. Besides the deep insights of each literary genre’s events, the significance of awareness of literature in affecting culture, society, and historical events become important because it reshapes the worldview of a particular story or focused subject. On the analytical side, we view become acquainted with the author’s styles, background, main topics and the overall composition of the authors writing. In retrospect of the first week of school the students become familiar with the definition of literature and what it’s been considered. “All literature begins with storytelling”, “All music comes from poetry, all movies come from stories in novels, or in short stories, drama, or screenplays.” (C. Berman) Genres that will be identifies are here as follows: movie, novel, short story, and poetry in the form of lyrics from beautifully written songs. Each genre is quite distinctive and that serves a purpose to grab your attention as a reader. Not only that, literature brings you to a different location and new setting that fully grabs your imagination to whole new level.
