Timed Write: “The Monkey’s Paw” In this passage of “The Monkey’s Paw” there was multiple examples of foreshadowing. One example of foreshadowing in this passage is when Mrs. White softly coughed ”Tut, tut!” when her husband was entering the room. I foreshadow that she coughed quietly because she didn’t want her husband to know that she was getting sick. I think she might’ve not wanted her husband to know that she was sick because he would probably get mad. Mr. White would probably get mad that she got sick due to not having too many things around them to get sick and get help.
Another example of foreshadow is when sergeant major told Mr. White that “fate ruled people’s lives,
