Are arranged marriages really a good option? No arranged marriages are honestly the worst thing that can happen to anyone whether your 16 years old or 40. When someone decides to get married it should be with someone they truly love, someone who you want to grow old with, someone who you think about and say i want you to be the parent of my child. Arranged marriages are something that creates so many negative effects in the world; yes there can be something positive about it but it is rare. These type of marriages cause things such as rape, depression/suicide , and can cause kids young kids (12-16 years old) to make choices such as running away from home and going falling in the wrong footsteps.
