American Education System America’s education system developed over the long harvest months in the South during the West migration. Usually a child would attend up until the 7th grade then later have to drop out in order to maintain the surplus cash crops found in their family’s farm. The American education system developed over the decades and eventually became a right for all children to have an education, then later evolving into a requirement in order to get somewhere or be someone in the world. I feel that being an American is the privilege to gain knowledge, to know more about this world.
