The war in Syria and North Africa have been going on for as long period of time , and many refugees have tried to flee the country for a better life and died. There are many ways the west can deal with the refugee crisis from Syria and North Africa. Enabling safe passage is key, Develop better assistance for the west countries who take in refugees and other countries have to share the burden. We can use history to help us in situations like this, in this era. During the inter war years the League of Nations commissioner created passports for refugees to use. In a span of about two to three weeks, over eight hundred thousand Kosovan refugees escaped into bordering Macedonia and Montenegro. The host countries were overwhelmed and Macedonia threatened to close its border unless the rest of Europe shared responsibility. Therefore, in April the refugee government party launched a humanitarian evacuation program, temporarily relocating nearly 100,000 using the share system. Germany took the highest number of refugees in at that time but almost every other country in Europe came in and helped contribute. This way of thinking showed how, with clear help from United Nations other, states were willing and able to cooperate. The example offers a huge advantage for people in Europe and Syria. By doing this Europe won’t have all the refuges in one area they will be spread out all across Europe and not just stuck in one place. This will eliminate risk of disease, risk of danger and any risk of people getting hurt. With having too many people in one area people, will do anything to get out and that could put the lives of others in significant danger. Just look at how bad the Syrians wanted to leave there country and risked one of their kid dying The reaction of people all across the world has been understood by the countries and it is now time to put a plan and motion into action.
