Energy is power that can come from physical, chemical, electronic or other resources. Energy lets something more or react in a way, weather it wa happening in that moment or it will happen. Energy can also change from one type of energy to another but cannot be destroyed.There are several types of energy potential energy for possible energy that hasn't happened yet, kinetic energy for energy that is moving, electrical energy for electricity, chemical energy for energy from chemicals including food, nuclear energy for energy from some kind of nuclear fusion, thermal and heat energy for energy that comes from heat the hotter the item the more energy, and mechanical energy for energy associated with motion and position of an item. First you find the mass of the marbles, then you do a quick test on the marble does it go faster on one book or three, then we got the result of more books being better so with five books (measuring the height as well) we measured the time and distance of each of the marbles. Once we got the time, mass distance and height or the marbles, we started calculating the speed of the marbles as well as potential energy and kinetic energy. After that we had the information of each run listed, we did the experiment this way because it was the easiest way we could think of while still getting good results, also the teacher told us
