Included in their reading logs, the students need to find the elements of the story structure, including the plot, the sequence of events involving the characters on conflict situations which can be based on the characters goal and the process they got through to achieve them. (Tompkins 2014). For the setting, the student’s will find where the story is taking place. For example, the story has four main setting, Rod house, the school, Billy house and Rod farmhouse. As the book progresses, the students will have to figure out the point of view and theme of the book. Once they gotten a chance to share with their group, they will form circle around the class for the grand conversation. The teacher will begin by asking "who would like to begin? Or "what are you thinking about? To get the class started. Once a student has introduced a new idea and class will contributed by sharing their idea, asking questions and showing example from the book to make a point. During the grand conversation the teacher will asked question to direct the students in things they have missed. At the end the teacher will summarized the main ideas that have been explored and draw conclusion about the chapter which have been read. Afterward, the students will write again in their reading journals to reflect on the ideas which were discussed. (Tompkins
