Alfred Wegener's Theory Of Evidence

Alfred Wegener was a German Scientist who thought of the Continental Drift Theory. The Continental Drift Theory is how 300 millions of years all the continents formed a supercontinent. This supercontinent was called Pangea. Wegener supported his theory with three key pieces of evidence. Starting off, the first piece of evidence is fossils. The Lystrosaurus fossils were found in many different continents like South America and Africa and the Mesosaurus fossils were also found in many different continents. Theses animals couldn’t have swam across the ocean to other continents. Wegener supported this by saying that these animals and plants lived on one landmass until the landmass broke apart.
