Theories Of Individual Personality

Alfred Adler believed in individual personality, which it focused on early childhood through adulthood. He explained that one of the reasons why personality starts to change in different ways; it is because you go through many experiences in your life. He explained that personality cannot be defined or shape any individual’s personality by any of their experiences as well as an individual can be able to choose or decide what type of personality to grow. Adlerian theory focused on birth order which means, the order of siblings you are in your family’s constellation. One brother is older than me and one is the baby, my sister is older than me. Since I was not the last one, but neither the first one, I was most of the time ignore by my parents. They were focused on my older brother and my youngest brother because my parents believed that boys requited more attention than girls. They believed that girls should always be at the house cleaning, washing, or cooking. Boys should always be watching TV, doing anything or go outside to play with friends. Now that we are old, my brothers’ personality and mindset is that the women have to do all of the house’s shores and they only need to provide money to pay bills and rent. My oldest sister believed in doing everything in the house and serve food to the husband in his laps, she doesn’t bother her husband for any house’s shores. I am the opposite from all my siblings, I believed that all family constellations are equal and there is not a difference between nobody. I believed in a husband doing house’s shores and women working as well outside of the house. But, all my siblings developed different personalities even we all were at the same house. Children tend to see their siblings as an enemy, but not as someone to trust in, they grow apart from each other. Most parents are not aware of the preferences they have between their children or sometimes they do, and they don’t care how the other children feel about it.
