Sometime ago I was discussing with some peers about the difference between a ‘job’ in the Air Force vs. ‘career.’ Many of us when asked ‘What do you do?’ respond by stating what specific duty we fulfill in the Air Force, however, at the end of the day, we are all airmen. Airmanship is at the core of what it means to be a member of the United States Air Force. Being an Airman is professing your occupation as a member of the Air Force, and therefore, must possess a level of selflessness, a sense of pride, and that your efforts serve the greater good.
