Affleck's Moral Obligation

My only complaint is that I found little Affleck's moralizing at the end kind of forced. I felt he would have at least thought it over before calling the cops. Legally, it was the right decision to call the cops. Also, he felt the child needed to go back to her mother and he probably felt the child would help sober her up. The mother kind of sobered up at the end but still seemed like a mess, which is more realistic. The audience would have felt nice and tingly if the movie would have had her sober up but in real life that would never happen.

I'd argue it was the height of selfish immorality since he put his own contentment with the decision above the best interests of the little girl as well as the good intentions of her uncle and the retired police captain. All this on top of rendering futile the

Affleck stuck to his morals, even if it wasn't the best decision ever. You got to respect his character for that.

But all those plot twists with the drug dealers just confused the hell out of me. It was way too much. But I thought the ending was perfect. You can tell that he regrets his decision a little bit but you know he'll never admit it out loud. But he admits it a little bit by watching over Amanda in the end.

Casey can report the parent to child services, etc., and what not but that's up the law and rules that society create and not up to Casey's character to do. The courts should decide who should have the child and I don't see how Morgan Freeman's character can determine as well that he is a better fit parent. If he thinks so then he should use the law. There's a grey area if you allow individuals to determine what's best for the child and not use the law. If Casey is allow passing judgment on the mom and taking the child away or keep her with Morgan Freeman then that just opens a can of

I watched Fatal Attraction with a friend and I said to him "that's what you get when you just want some fun for the weekend". Although going with Alex was a decision Dan made it was very unfortunate that the woman he had an affair with was extremly crazy. I doubt that Alex got pregnen, if she was obssesed with Dan she could have made everything up. I don't belive Dan seen as a hero at the end of the movie because it has his wife the one that had the last shot, literally in the theatrical ending and figuratevly in the orginal ending.…

While this was not my first time watching this movie, I felt like I got much more from the movie watching it now because of my improved understanding of the various conditions (including personality disorders) present in the patients and the staff of the facility. Mac was a very interesting and complex character, that while at first glace likeable, it was hard to get out of your mind all the horrible things he had done to people, including minors. He did seem, at least superficially, to care about the fellow patients. I feel that he actually helped many of the patients, treated them with more kindness than most the staff, and the patients seemed to genuinely enjoy being around him.…

Karenya Garrett: Consent by Jason Reitman This short film starts off as this awkward, corny, romantic situation in beginning. But as it started to pick throughout, it got the core of the situation, comically, without being offensive. I thought that Reitman did a good job with how he approached the topic, conveying the issue with a comedic approach, but still not disregarding the issue whatsoever. I enjoyed on how the lawyers took over once the consent form came into play.…

P1: The movie I am reviewing is called “Hoosiers.” This movie is about a basketball coach named Norman Dale (Gene Hackman) who comes to work at small high school in rural Hickory, Indiana. I am here to give my opinion of this movie, and it’s not a good one. P2: I felt that the character of Jimmy Chitwood (Maris Valainis) did not get enough character development as he should have, considering the amount of focus put on him in the beginning.…

The authors purpose of this Myth is to show how the earth was made. The Myth started off by the mother giving birth to two twin boys. The main idea was to show that hate had made this world, because the two twins did not get along at all. The imagery in this story was quite crazy to imagine, because the way the twins were born was just unimaginable one of the boys was birthed out of the moms armpit. Although the imagery was very creative, and just kind of astonishing.…

I found it interesting that the author decided to connect mental disorders and dancing together. The fact that Pat, played by Bradley Cooper, and Tiffany, played by Jennifer Lawrence, were able to overcome their mental illnesses by dancing together was significant. In addition, the movie showcased the changes in a family relationship really well and had unique characters that were different from previous movies I saw. For example, Pat’s father has OCD and believed in superstition, while Pat’s mother looked over the family quietly.…
