Adversity as a sparring partner.

Adversity means difficulties or misfortune, which can be roughly interpreted as someone that is better than you. So if adversity becomes your sparring partner, then you will get better and better even though you always lose. Sparring adversity can also allow you to push farther as you lose. Adversity will help you become a better person as you learn about it in the real world as it throws its curve ball at you that can either make or break you as you hit it or miss as you play the game of your life. Adversity as your sparring partner will always help even when you doubt it and yourself you will always get better even though you lose.

And if your sparring partner is someone that is better, than you will get better because you are learning how to do what you're doing better. The reason why adversity is such a good sparring partner is because if you always fight against someone that you will lose against that will push you farther and farther and will make you a better fighter. So when you go against someone else than your sparring partner and your sparring partner has gone against them and won then you will probably win too because you fight against someone that is really good that you always lose against. And as time goes on and you face someone that is better than you then you'll get better

Up until the 1770’s few Americans were thinking about independence from Britain, and the struggle was framed in the terms of colonial protests seeking redress for grievances( Hugh Dussek). Increasing tension eventually led to the declaration of independence and in turn resulted in the revolutionary war. All of the tension resulted in an overwhelming amount of motivation for the American colonists, they had a reason, an incentive to fight, whereas the British soldiers had little if any motivation aside from being ordered to fight. Before the war began, parliament had multiple discussions about whether or not the colonists had the same rights as British citizens, the majority believed that they had and thus deserved the same liberties as well…

I joined my school’s wrestling team during my junior year of high school and went into this new environment with 0 years of prior training and 16 years of “Girls don’t really wrestle”.
