Globalization – is the process by which human societies has widen geographic, economic and cultural borders. As the result of globalization countries, nations, societies, cultures, businesses, and people become more connectedness and interdependent.
In pre-modern times, the volume of globalization was weak and goods and information flow between countries was enabling by caravans and colonizers. Over time globalization has been on the rise and most industrialized countries show a high degree of globalization today and impacts of globalization can be perceive in every corner of our world. Mass media become uniform, globalized. English turned into international language. Today we have opportunity to learn news from any point of the world as soon as they occurred, to watch pictures and video from satellites in real time. Also there was available a distance learning in educational institutions of any country.
Globalization has both positive and negative consequences. Among the first: acceleration of introduction and distribution of technical achievements and modern methods of management, new economic prospects for the states and citizens, possibility of providing higher standard of living of the population.
As with a wide expansion of global economy, globalization has become the subject of great controversy and debates as to whether globalization is a positive or negative force, and anti-globalization climate is getting hotter.
