Introduction
Physical fitness relates to the physical activities that are performed to enhance the working of a human body. It maintains overall health. It is performed for variety of reasons which include weight loss, fitness, strengthening muscles and enhancing immune system. It reduces the risk of many diseases including heart diseases, obesity or diabetes. It also maintains mental health and boosts the confidence too.

The exercises which mainly focus on increasing the efficiency of heart muscles come under this group. The examples include cycling, walking, hiking, swimming and playing tennis etc. In general, aerobic exercise is one performed at a low to moderate level of intensity over a long period of time. For example, running a long distance at a moderate pace is an aerobic exercise, but sprinting is not. Anaerobic Exercises
Anaerobic exercises are those exercises that builds the muscle mass and enhances power. It increases the short-term muscle strength. The performance of muscles enhances. It is a strength exercise that uses resistance to muscular contractions. There are many different methods to perform anaerobic exercises. The most common of which are weight and resistance exercise. These two types of exercise use gravity (through weight stacks, plates or dumbbells) or machines to oppose muscle contraction, and the terms can be used interchangeably.
