As this class comes to an end, I have learned about various processes and techniques to enhance my practice. The one objective that I learned the most from was how the master’s prepared nurse influences policy and economic issues through policy development and advocacy. The skills required to develop, implement, and evaluate a policy are imperative as health care evolves. I wish I had taken this class at the beginning of my nursing career. It would have been extremely helpful in the numerous projects I have taken part in. The Learnscape modules helped expand my knowledge and framework of policy formation.
