Long term psychological stress may harmfully impact health, and has been quoted as a cause in cognitive impairment with aging, gloomy illness, and mental sickness. “Although the field is fairly new, many studies have been created to examine the influence of Neuroimmune systems on the psychological consequences of stress (Mills).” A survey that was conducted on 145 random college students, to gather stress information on the student’s health habits, health status, and self-esteem. The results revealed that the females that were not involved in school activities were stressed, and students that were stress also had unhealthy habits. This study showed that students under stress are prone to have unhealthy habits (e.g. eating unhealthy foods) which can cause health issues
