At the end of act 1 scene 4 we read that Romeo’s friends have convinced him to crash Capulet’s party in search of another girl to replace Rosaline , a girl romeo is obsessed with but does not love him back. Romeo only agrees to go to see Rosaline until he meets Juliet in act 1 scene 5. When Romeo first sees Juliet he is awe struck, turns to one of Capulets service men and asks who she is. The service man tells Romeo that he does not know who the fair maiden is. Romeo says some lovely things about Juliet and while he is doing so Tybalt, juliet's cousin, notices that he is a Montague and runs to lord Capulet to tell him about the intruder.
