I easily get frustrated, when I get frustrated I tend to lash out. When I feel this way I say some of the rudest things to people. When I get frustrated sometimes I can’t control how I react therefore, my emotions get the best of me. Most people know that saying things out of anger is not the best solution to the problem.
A time when I got frustrated was when my parents gave me an unnecessary punishment. One time I got into trouble and I thought that they over reacted, then I over reacted and got angry and frustrated with them. They got mad at me for skipping physical therapy which I never meant to skip. I lost track of time helping out with prom. The lady that schedules the appointments moved mine over and never told me, she told my mom.

For example, if African Americans attack the Whites for causing injustices of slavery, the question would determine which makes us angry: the Whites in general or the Whites’ unjust actions. The wrong target is to attack the people rather than the action.…

In the articles “Change or Die” and “Dealing with Ambiguity: The New Business Imperative” I learned a tremendous amount about ambiguity and why it is so important to be able to deal with it. The main lesson I learned from “Change or Die” was the author talking about how the real challenge isn’t changing itself, but it is the conventional thought that change requires facts, fear, and force in order to be successful in changing. Changing people does not come easy and it doesn’t come from scaring someone into change, forcing someone into change, or telling someone to change, rather it comes from being able to emotionally connect with someone and giving them hope that the change can be accomplished and that it will be good for them and that is…

We talk about people being manipulative and are often irritated at them for these behaviors or we have a vague sense that others have manipulated us, but what is the real definition of manipulation? Encarta's Dictionary definition of manipulation is as follows: Using clever and devious ways to control or influence somebody or something, to change by artful or unfair means, and serving one's own purpose. All that to say in a rather polite way that due to your self-serving or self-centered motives, you try to get someone else to do something for you that you probably can do for yourself; you just do not want to do it. For other people, there can be a smug satisfaction in getting over on people and having others do things for them that they are more than capable of doing.…

Letting anger take control can be horrible, especially if we don’t try to calm ourselves down or are not even aware of the anger. Not controlling your anger can lead to getting violent, which can end in even more violence. If you get angry, it would be hard to take control of it and you could make mistakes that you would regret later on. In Coping Tips: Unhealthy Ways of Dealing With Conflict, it states, “ When we are not aware of being angry or are aware but don’t express it, anger can then become modified.” If you get angry and don’t express it, the anger can be placed upon other people, or even yourself, which can eventually lead to possible depression.…
