Yes; after taking accounting 2100, I soon realized that I was very good with numbers in addition to applying formulas and seeing how mathematics applied in real life business aspects. I was fascinated by the subject matter, therefore I decided to choose Accounting as my major.
2. What is career goal and how will the major that you listed translate into your major career goal? Although it is two very diverse career goals I aim to one be a Chief Financial Officer which implies a more corporate setting, or working for the government as a forensic accounting. This major will be able to help me reach my career goal through learning the basics such as terminology, regulations and laws I have to abide by, and solidifying my choice in what branch of accounting I wish to go into.

Two skills I can improve upon would be time management and being fluent in my other languages. Time management is a key factor in being successful in any field, although I try and manage school, work, and social life; sometimes one of them suffers due to the lack of being able to manage time efficiently. Being able to meet deadlines will be crucial when being employed at a firm. Becoming fluent in my other languages would give me that extra edge and possibly put me above other candidates when obtaining a job. Also knowing multiple languages can help me go abroad in the case a firm needs me to do non domestic work.
