Abuela Advents The Zero Analysis

In both story’s, ‘’Home’’ and ‘’Abuela Invents the Zero,’’ is about Constancia which comes from the story “Abuela Invents the Zero,’’ and Seryozha that comes from the other story ‘’Home.’’ My thesis statement introduction, is that in both story’s “Home’’ and “Abuela Invents the Zero,’’ help me in my personal life because in the story “Home’’ shows that Seryozha had been doing bad sins during his early age of life. In the story it shows that Seryozha had been ‘’smoking, stealing, and lying’’ to his father. This shows me that doing a sinful thing, there can be consequences or losing someone part of your life. This shows when Seryozha was smoking, the consequences were that he could of had lung disease or had died in such young age. Also in the other story ‘’Abuela Invents the Zero’’ talks about how Constancia had been mean and making her grandmother feel ‘’like a zero, like a nothing’’ in her life. This showed me that being mean to your elders is being unrespectful.

Constancia made her grandmother ‘’feel like a zero, like a nothing.’’ Also, in the other story ‘’Home’’ talks about that Seryozha was ‘’lying, stealing, and smoking’’ to his father. Some differences between both stories and both characters talk about that both Constancia makes her grandmother feel ‘’like a nothing, like a zero.’’ Constancia acts like that to her grandmother because she feels embarrassed with her grandmother. .Also, Seryozha was ‘’lying, stealing, and smoking’’ to his father. But in the end both characters saw what they were doing wrong and what was the right thing to do to help their solutions go
