I believe that all the tiers need to get to state of fulfillment. However there could be some controversy as person could be in love and give affection without having proper resources.Several couples and families live paycheck to paycheck and are very affectionate.Some individuals that don’t meet their needs as described on each tier of Maslow’s Hierarchy could develop serious disorders. One example would be if person isn’t happy with their body. Person might starve themselves to lose weight. If person is unhappy person could turn to comfort food and gain weight.If a person’s house is broke into the person is most likely to feel violated which violates the safety and secure tier.In reference to the pyramid, Maslow’s suggests people climb up it after fulfilling needs,but I also think that if needs are violated then person can fall down the pyramid. If person starts going down the pyramid person could spiral downhill quickly.If someone loses their job and becomes unable to live comfortably, they become highly stressed. The increased stress of how to get resources people need would interrupt the person’s rising of the pyramid and could cause them to go backwards if they were at self-actualization tier. However, people need to realize life happens and not to let a setback knock them down. People have to come back at life fighting or they could stay at bottom of pyramid for very long time,even for the rest of their
