Happiness
What is happiness? Not the happiness of going to Vegas or the worlds most awesome amusement park, rather the happiness of true deep down contentment.
Many people walk around in a dis-funk; a perpetual state of unhappiness, they suffer from chronic discontent, dislike and discord. They are also dishonest- with themselves because they expect people and things to make them happy. Even though certain people and experiences can bring us temporary joy, true happiness is all in the mind.
Allow me to first state that this post is not intended to discount the need for professional mental help. There are indeed people who suffer from mental and psychological challenges,which require professional treatment. If you can not find your happiness seek professional help.

Operating in your strengths, boosts confidence and self esteem. Your strengths are the things that you do well and your virtues are what makes up your character. When you use your unique gifts to help others, self satisfaction is the result.

The happiest people have the grand slam of attitude; positive thinking, which includes optimism mindfulness and gratitude. Positive thinking can influence outcomes, Henry Ford once said “Whether you think you can or you think you cant you're right. In the book “AS A MAN TH:INKETH,” James Allen states, “As the physically weak man can make himself strong by careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts can make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking.”
Optimism can have a positive affect on mental and physical health, it is the character of seeing the better side of a person or situation optimistic people trust in a positive outcome and make the best of whatever the outcome may be.
Mindfulness is also therapeutic, it allows us to reflect on ourselves and gives us the opportunity to embrace or refine our character and
