This seems to be the Army’s toughest battle to fight for both enlisted and officer personal. I can attest to this personally due to the fact I am currently being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with another junior-enlisted service member. It was brought to my attention by my senior leadership that four service members at different times saw myself along with the other service member walking by ourselves coming from a Bazar. There is no proof of an inappropriate relationship occurring however the “perception” perceived is causing my leadership to act out to ensure that no one will be reprimanded for their actions. If a service member was partaking in an inappropriate relationship with another service member they would be reprimanded resulting in a UCMJ and charged with adultery.
