The APA style of writing was developed to help both psychologists and business associated people to come together and format a way to understand each others writings. This style of writing helps the associates to have clear cut procedures to publish their materials. It gives the associates guidelines to publish by and has the structured elements such as punctuation, abbreviations, statistics, and numbers which allow the group of associates reading it to clearly understand how it is being presented.
