ADA Racing Case Study

I believe their was adequate ADA parking, however we needed more ADA decals verifying that placards and registration was checked. In addition toll booths did miss verifying some patrons placards & registration and the patron didn't receive a decal. Numerous times working in Lot 7 & 8 campgrounds I noticed the patrons didn't have the decal and asked them if anyone verified their information and they stated no and explained why it needed to be verified and the patrons were more than happy to let me verify their information and had to go grab decals to give to the patron. I recommend for toll booths that there should be separate ADA only lanes that specialize in verifying the patrons

Not all of the parking lots are paved and in good condition like they should be. Many students and staff complain about the gravel lots and the damages it causes to their cars. Potholes are another big problem that drivers have to deal with in their parking lots. Searching to find a parking spot, my boyfriend once hit a pot hole driving through the parking lot and it caused a lot of damage to the bottom front bumper of his car. He complained that parking was not worth messing up his car.…

    1) At the second track meet of the season the sprint track coach decides to mix things up to see how a few runners would do in different events. He put a girl in the 3,000-meter run instead of her normal sprint 100. I definitely think that she would have a moment of terror, especially right before the race when she is waiting for the race to begin. The action of running has not changed, however the distance she would be running increased dramatically.…

One thing that surprised me about the car was that the car tires were filled with nitrogen gas instead of compressed air. Nitrogen is a colorless and odorless non-toxic gas used to reduce the temperature of the tire and increase its lifespan. In races, it may be able to keep tire pressure more constant and slow pressure loss without reacting to the tire and rim materials. Another thing that surprised me about the car was its design and build. What really caught my eye was that the inside of the body shell of the car.…

In this section, a brief review is given about the literature on driving events recognition using smartphone sensors. Driving events recognition can be categorized according to the factor that caused this event: driving behavior such as aggressive driving or road surface condition such as a pothole. Two categories of research were reviewed in this section: driving behaviors recognition and road conditions recognition. The enclosed annotated bibliography represents recent research on the topic of safety in auto racing. I began my research by asking ‘Is NASCAR taking proactive measures to keep its drivers, crew members and fans safe while maintaining its entertainment value?’ In my paper, I will argue yes, NASCAR takes safety seriously while still maintaining fair and entertaining competition. Although throughout its history safety was overlooked, the current state of operation is dedicated to research and develop innovations that limit injury and fatality. Many changes occurred as result of increased driver deaths, most significantly, Dale Earnhardt Sr.…
