AD: Child Development And Early Childhood Development

AD is an 8-year-old boy who lives with MD and his father (KD). Both parents are in their 40s, and both are employed, with MD choosing casual labor jobs allowing her to schedule around caring for AD. The parents emigrated from China, and Chinese is their native language. There is no known history of mental illness or intellectual impairments in the family. AD is the only child, and there have been no remarkable illnesses or incidents during infancy and early childhood.
