How would you define a life changing experience? Every person has one, but what characteristics make one simple event into something so drastically important? There are no limits as to what could be a person's life changing moment. Traveling the world could change a person's life, but so could reading a book. For me, I neither read a book nor traveled the world; I simply moved. When I was seven years old my parents decided spontaneously to move away from our home in Toronto, to Calgary, Alberta. You could say this drastic change taught me a lot about life.
It all started one December evening when my parents came up to me and my sister’s room for a little chat. They began by explaining that we were moving to Alberta. I was excited! I mean how could I not be? I was moving to Alberta, a place where you could see the gorgeous Rocky Mountains from your backyard, smell crisp pine air the moment you wake up.
