Extracurricular activities like the FFA and 4-H Organizations, help students, like me, gain experience in a variety of areas that will enhance our future. Through participation in these organizations, I have learned cooperation, teamwork and time management. By serving as an officer, I have also gained responsibility, as well as problem solving and communication skills. FFA has opened doors to new leadership roles at both a local and multi-county level. I have been given the opportunity to serve as Teutopolis Chapter and Section 20 Reporter and Vice President.…
1. What are your reasons for applying to Rutgers University School of Social Work? Discuss how your personal, professional, and/or community experiences and values affected your decision? After I turn the proverbial corner of childhood, I begin to look at what I can do in my lifetime. With an education at Georgia Tech, my possibilities are infinite. Ideally, I will complete my undergraduate studies at Tech in Electrical Engineering. While in Atlanta, I would have a plethora of opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Upon completion of my studies, I'd like to enter the workforce at a company, such as GE, as an innovator.…
Emilia Earhart once said “Never do things others can do and will do, if there are things others cannot do or will not do do”. University of Alaska Southeast, the lone survivor, can help me with my survivalist skills, and will help me do the unpredictable. The expenses for this college are what I can do. The books and supplies with parents is $1,400, for on campus its $1,400, and off campus its $1,400.…
Aggies tend to help out other aggies and that’s the type of group of people I would like to be associated with. If admitted, the most exciting part would be the fact that I would finally get to call myself an official aggie. I hope I am able to participate in the opportunities Texas A&M offers after…
I love expressing my creativity through music and the arts, and I have a passion for mathematics and science. My dream is to pursue a combination of both interests, and at Georgia Tech, I believe I my dream could be realized. The emphasis on the importance of technology progressing any field of study resonates with me, especially in the field of music. I have already begun combining technology and music by working as a sound technician in theaters. However, I would like to take it a step further by innovating new ways music is experienced.…
I will apply the tips that I learned about in the Read section in order to successfully complete my assignments in a timely manner. My ability to be a critical thinker, communicate well with others, and being great with time time-management will allow me to successfully complete my assignments (Chamber, 2016). I have made the decision to dedicate a few hours every night to work on my homework. By doing this, I have been able to stay ahead of the course deadlines. As long as I follow the system that Bethel University has in place, I will have no issues completing my homework in a proficient and timely manner.…
Have you ever been apart of a championship back to back years before? well sitting in the stands of faurot field is a very exciting moment in my life. I would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be one of the many applicants the admissions committee has reviewed this admission cycle. The dedication to the mission of providing care to underserved minorities and the patient-focused teaching style are both aspects which have influenced my passion for attending FSU College of Medicine. In addition, I have proven my perseverance and dedication to becoming a physician through the successful completion of my masters degree in Biomedical Science. This is a feat I hope will contribute to my track record of improvement post graduation and continue to display my zealousness for attending your institution. If I am granted the pleasure of being offered an acceptance,…
The last few years were the toughest and eventful period of my life. But now that I look back from the end of the road, I see a very rewarding and educational experience. And I want to take a moment to acknowledge the people who had contributed to making this so. I will never forget the fall 2008, I walked into Professor Zoheir Farhat’s office for the first time. Unbeknownst to me, it was only the beginning of a long eventful journey together of scientific discoveries and endeavors.…
aTm. I've wanted to go to Texas A&M since I was 5 years old. Never have I thought once about a smaller less known about school. When I thought about what UTA would be like I imagined a small school, maybe two or three buildings a few professors but nothing special. When the bus pulled up I was amazed, it was big, lots of buildings, students buzzing around, laughing, socializing, having a great time.…
UTSA Almost two years ago at UTSA, I had this farfetched goal of transferring to UT. I would sit at my desk on the internet late at night and during study breaks I would look up everything about UT. I would lean back in my chair and dream of what it would be like to go to school at UT. I wanted to wear the burnt orange, to look up at the Tower in person, and to put my hands in the water fountain at the end of University Avenue. I wanted to meet the students at UT, to take the same classes and tests, and do the same homework.…
Twenty years ago I was born at the Spring Branch hospital right here in Houston, Texas. Growing up I found out that one of my technical skills was mathematics. I could pick up on anything in math fairly easily without much work, but I also learned that I was very shy in front of people I don’t really know. Although I get nervous talking in front of people I was in marching band for all four years of high school and held three leadership positions. A few of my transferable skills would be organization, time management, and my loyalty.…
