I am writing you this letter because I want to let you know some things. And I wouldn’t be able to tell you this all in person without crying my eyes out. Adam, you are not just a coach to me. You are like a dad to me, and to the other girls on the team. You are an all-around amazing person. You have a beautiful wife, four amazingly cute and precious children, and a huge group of girls that love you unconditionally. You are the best swim coach I have ever had (And I have had many to chose from). I feel as if I have not thanked you enough for what you do for me. You do so much for me and the other girls on the team. It is ridiculous to think of all the times where you put us in front of yourself and even in front your family. You make a huge sacrifice to be our swim coach. You have said this many times yourself but you spend potentially more time with us than with your actual family. And it means so much that you are willing to miss out on some things that your children do, or even just time with Courtney to be with us at the pool during practice and meets. And for that I want to say thank you. You are such a thoughtful coach. You are genuinely concerned about every single girl on the team. I mean come on! How many people get to say that there coach asks them (almost, if not, everyday) how they are/how they feel/how was their day at school went?!?! You genuinely just want to hear from us about how things are going, and what it is that you can do to make things better. In addition to that, you always have our best interests in mind. Everything you have us do is for a purpose. You have been coaching for a while now, and we just need to trust the process even when things are not going as well as what we hoped for at that time.
