“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” (Christopher Reeve) Heroes don’t need to have superpowers like the ones you see in comics, heroes are ordinary people and they are all around you wherever you go. A hero shows signs of courage, fairness, and trustworthiness Heroes are courageous and lack fear. This shows that heroes aren’t afraid of any obstacles that may face them whether it is big or small. A good example of this is in the Odyssey, when Odysseus thrusted the stake into the big and bad Cyclops to save him and his men. (Act.11.1, PG.36) This was an amazing act of courage from Odysseus since he knew that he didn’t have a fighting chance, but in the end
