Unfortunately, drugs became a massive issue in the clubs like Acid House, teknivals, or any free party. Squat parties took place in abandoned or beat up buildings. With no rules and regulation, most of the attendees came to these events to get high on cocaine, MDMA, or ketamine. These parties lasted for over 24 hours. There were stories about how certain individuals became so high and distorted from reality that they danced completely nude on the dance floor. Law enforcement have targeted countless squat parties, and made dozens of arrests. For this reason, over the past two decades, rave parties began to diminish.
This, however, was not the end of EDM, or electronic dance music. Over the years rave parties transformed into incredible music festivals. Last year he attended his first EDM festival called Electric Daisy Carnival located in Las Vegas. The music helps him forget about the pain he goes through every single day of his life. At one point when he was dancing in his wheelchair, a group of people raised him up in the air. From this view he was able to see the colossal stage, and the colorful flashing lights. Everyone cheered him on as he was throwing his hands up in the air.
