Life in the middle and late 19th century was very different from the previous century. Many innovations of the 19th century sparked interest and backing behind many new technological ideas. Some examples of transportation improvements would be the addition of trains tracks in Russia and streetcars on widened roads in Paris and cities like London. Class structure had also changed now allowing for the middle class to rise and up and now classify the majority of the population in most European countries. There was still an upper class and a lower class but the gap between had be narrowed severely by the wide range of the middle class. Family life had changed, now most kids did not have to work in the factories and they now received funded education.
