At the core a marine biologist works to research the oceans and the life forms that dwell within it. There are a large variety of degrees, work, and specializations under marine biology. Marine biologists not only study the plants and animals that live in the ocean but also their surroundings and how certain things may affect them. There are many different topics of study under marine biology.
There are many prerequisites before you can go into marine biology. When going into marine biology you must know about the basic requirements that are needed. To become a marine biologist a student must have had graduated high school, earn a master’s in biology or some related science course, have had an internship, and if they want a doctorate in marine biology (The higher the level of education the higher the salary) “Most Employers Prefer students to have at least a master’s degree or a doctorate degree in the field of marine biology”.
