This movie begins with Will, an editor, quitting his job to spend more time with his family. When he goes back to live his family, he uncovers many things about his life. At first, strange things happen while at the house. For instance, one night Will’s youngest daughter claims she seems a man in the window. The strangest thing that takes place at the house is that Will finds a cult of teenagers in his basement one night having a meeting. He asks them what were they doing there and they tell him that it’s because of the murders. Will is informed that a family was murdered at his house but the husband, named Paul Ward, survived.
