Thomas Luther “Luke” Bryan was born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia with his father and siblings who owned a peanut farm. He picked up the country music from his parents records that consisted of Alan Jackson, George Strait and Conway Twitty. Luke’s childhood consisted of hunting,fishing and singing. His parents bought him a guitar at 14 and started playing songs in local bands and in the park. Luke still helped around the farm but he still found some time to write songs and to sing them when he got the chance. When Luke was 16 he was going to go to Music city but when he was so sure of it his oldest brother had died in a motor accident. So instead of going to Music City he decided to go to Georgia Southern University to show emotional support to his family.

Luke has caught over 13 walleyes and at least 10 catfish. Once even when he was hunting he had seen a huge turkey and waited until the next day to find it again. The next day Luke woke up extra early and grabbed his cross-bow and went out into the early light. The turkey was about 5 ft. away from him and then Luke loaded his cross-bow with an arrow and with great measure shot it at the turkey.
