Independent- Distance the light source is from the plant.
In my experiment I will start by distancing a lamp 12.7 centimeters, every 5 trials the lamp will be distanced another 12.7 centimeters. Until 63.5 centimeters is reached and 25 trials have been completed.
Dependent- Time it takes the candle to burn out
Time will be measured with a stopwatch to determine how long the candle stays lit.
