The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens book was written by Sean Covey, talks about how being a teenager is hard and how we have to keep up with school, friends, online activities like Snapchat and Instagram, family, and other daily activities.The 7 Habits book gives teenagers pointers on how to become a proactive person and how to handle situations better.Sean Covey's book tells you how important it is to begin with the end in mind why you should put first things first.This book says how thinking that you can win and having the think win-win attitude is great to have in life.In The 7 Habits book Sean also explains the importance of having relationship bank accounts with others and yourself.The Habit 7 book teaches teensgers on how to be happier …show more content…
The CrossRoads of LIfe include some of the most important things in a teenagers life. College, Friends, Online, Works, Peer Pressure, Classes, Drinking, Sex, Drugs, Parents, What should you stand for and so many other things in a teenagers life.Habit two talks about sharing and posting serious, harmful, or just talking to or following a complete stranger online.Choose wisely on who you choose to be friends with.When you think about sex in your later life, habit two says to imagine the kind of person that you want to end up with, date, and even marry. “Most movies lie, especially when it comes to the issues of having sex. They glamorize sleeping around and having one-night stands without addressing the potential risks of contracting with Sexually Transmitted Infection or diseases like AIDS.” Page 77. A lot of teens get pressured into doing stuff that most of the time the dont wanna do, including sex, drugs, parties, and the wrong group of people.You have to be in control of your own life and don't follow the herd.Make your destiny.Create a mission statement.It's important to have the end in mind and when doing that you have to have a mission statement.A mission statement is the blueprint, personal credo, or the motto of your life. A motto is what you live your life by.
