Jupiter is a fifth grade student with Other Physically Impaired (OPI) and Speech or language Impairment (S/LI). Star also has behavior issues and has a paraprofessional to assist her at different parts of the day. She has a behavior chart that help earn her desired break when she is on task, following directions, completing her assignment and not arguing with the teacher. She has been working with me (student teacher) for the past four weeks on reading the first 200 Fry sight words. We worked on first me providing explicit instructions and modelling on how to read the word and then guided practice on re-reading the word.
