The beginning of every meeting is very familiar to all 4-H members: "I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living..." This pledge is not just words it is a way to live. 4-H is a organization for youth that was created in 1902, the purpose was to teach about citizenship, responsibility, leadership, and other life skills. I have been in this program for seven years and will continue through out high school because my leadership skills have grown, I have became more responsible, and it has taught me a way of life.
