1960s Art Styles

Across the years there have been many types of art styles. Back in the 1960s there were stranger ways, at least to present day. These arts were dancing, music, and fashion. Here are way that the 2000s and 1960s were different and the same. The first one on the list is dancing. Dancing back in the 60s was more about imitation. They would copy anything from surfing to mashing potatoes,but now it's more about doing something random like sneezing. But on contrast they are kind of similar, in the 2000s we still sometimes do something that was from the 60s and call it something way different. Music has also changed and stayed the same. It the text of The Watsons Go to Birmingham, Kenny would keep listening to yakety-yak like most people these days would with their music, but they would also have ear plugs. Back then, there were record players and radio so they had to listen to every one else's music and couldn't listen to their own. But they are similar because 60s music is still going in the 2000s. According to the book Red Scarf Girl, in China, binding your feet was still happening a little bit. doing was to have super tiny shoes and stay in them all your life, it was also a sign of beauty. Also According to another book, While the World Watched, in America women wore mostly dresses and skirts and men wearing mostly tuxedos. Going back to nowadays, the 60s and the 2000s are similar in the way people dress by women mostly wearing skirts and dresses and men using tuxes to go to fancy occasions. In summary, the 1960 and now are the same and different, we still use the arts and still make wonderful clothing, dance great, and create music while taking bits and pieces from the 1960s.
