0304g's Three Significant Figures

Decent Essays
When using a 100 mL graduated cylinder marked every 1 mL, there should be one decimal places in each reading. The first decimal place is an estimated because the graduated cylinder is marked for every 1 mL. The final definitive number is in the ones place, so the tenth place should be estimated, as the last digit of measurement is usually estimated. For example, on a 100ml graduated cylinder marked every 1 mL, a sample reading would be 75.6mL, three significant figures, because 75 would be shown in the graduated cylinder and I would estimate the tenth digit to be 6. I decided that .0304g has three significant figures because the first zero is is considered a place holding zero, so it is excluded, while the zero between three and four is included

One thing that definitely went wrong in the lab was that we had to round about two of our measurements and the reason being was that they were exact. To exemplify, when we were reading the volume for the finishing measurement of the base for trial three, we got exactly 45.00 mL. The only problem was that, we had didn’t really have the two significant decimal numbers. Hence, we rounded our volume to 45.01 mL. Also, we got exactly 23.00 mL for our finishing volume of the acid for trial three. Therefore, once again we rounded it to 23.02mL in order to get at least two significant decimal numbers.…

We want the neural network to predict the stock price at a future date using stock price, EMA, RSI and MACD data of today and the last few days. The neural network can be configured to have a specified number of hidden layers. In addition to hidden layers the neural network has an input layer and an output layer. In the input layer we give the input that is stock price, EMA, RSI and MACD data of today and the last few days. The hidden layer comes between the input layer and the output layer.…

All of you have experienced unit of measure (UOM) issues in your location and as you know much time is spent correcting and explaining the problems. The other day a location outside our district created a $12,000,000 dollar difference, and as you can imagine several eyebrows were raised as the problem created a huge difference in the company numbers. The importance of UOM accuracy is critical when entering sales orders, creating purchase orders to vendors, and processing vendor invoices. All these areas need to be closely watched for discrepancies by all who enter and approve orders.…

Results that are obtained from the proposed differential (data size dependent) approach are compared with other approaches like HP_k_means (for smaller hence low-dimension data), UV_k-means , GMiner (for large data sets) and then fialy the performance is compared with CPU. A. Small data sets (Low –dimension) For this a data set of sizes 2 million and 4 million with varying values of “k” (number of the distinct sets/groups) and “d”…

    1. Significant figures are all the digits that can be known precisely in measurement as well as a last estimated digit. 2. The measurements are continuously reported to the correct number of significant figures, because the calculated answer frequently depends on the number of significant figures in the values used in the calculation. To determine significant rules in measurements, there are six rules that are applied to establish significant figures.…

The two source nodes, 1 and 2, have messages A and B that need to be transmitted to the two destination/sink nodes, 5 and 6, which need both A and B to be delivered. Each edge in this network can only carry a single value. If nodes could only route/retransmit, then the central link would only be able to carry message A or message B, but not both of them at the same time. Assuming we sent message A through the center, then node 5 would receive message A twice and would never receive message B. The same problem would occur at node 6 if we sent message B through the center node, with node 6 never being able to receive message A. We can immediately see here that routing would be insufficient since no routing scheme can simultaneously transmit A and B to both sink nodes.…

Well, it depends on what you’re talking about, exactly. For instance, if you are talking about pure phosphorus, then the value we ended up with after going through all of the necessary calculations is 1.306 * 10-3 moles of phosphorus. The actual value I got when determining it was 0.001306 moles of phosphorus, but writing it the other way made it much easier to fit on the table, and it is simply more appealing to look at. On the other hand, if you are more concerned with the amount of P2O5 that obtained from the experiment and our calculations, then the value we received is 0.0927 grams of P2O5, which would mean that our results say that 9.27 percent of the sample of plant food we tested is P2O5. However, this is not the value the plant food label gives us.…

Introduction Density measures the volume that a given amount of mass takes up. Usually, density has grams per unit volume as a unit. To find the density of an object, the object has to be measured and its mass has to be divided by its volume. Often times, density is used to identify substances, since different elements have specific densities. This experiment is made up of two sections; the first section measures the density of water and the density of an unknown substance.…
