During the post-war period, countries were either peacebuilders or warriors. If they were peacebuilders they would help other countries maintain peace, order, and a ceasefire. If they were a warrior they would help other countries fight. In the post-war period, Canada was a warrior. The Korean War, Persian Gulf War, and the War in Afghanistan are three examples of Canada being a warrior in the post-war period. The Korean War lasted from 1950-1953.
