What is learning
A relatively permanent change in cognition resulting from experience and directly influencing behaviour.
Learning Outcomes
Skills based learning (what to do and when to do - set of tasks)-- compilation (lower level - learning new skill still need to think while performing) Automaticity ( higher level - mastered skill and can perform without thinking)
Cognitive Knowledge - Declarative Knowledge (store of factual knowledge)
Procedural knowledge (When and how to apply knowledge), strategic knowledge ( highest level of knowledge used to plan, monitor and revise goal directed activity)
Attitudinal learning - motivation (goals and effort) affect/feelings (affects behaviour and therefore behaviour. Attitudes are employee beliefs and opinions that support or inhibit learning)
KSA
Knowledge skills and attitudes -- instead of abilities as attitudes distinctly influence behaviour and abilities are learned.
